Zena’s classes on West 3rd Street were magical. I improved so much six days a week, year after wonderful year, of studying with Zena. My line improved, my center, my legs and feet – and a deeper feeling of the beauty of ballet through Floor-Barre® – all gifts and benefits from Zena’s brilliant gift. My understanding of dance grew from Floor-Barre®, and as a solo dancer with Martha Graham, I know my Graham technique deepened from class with Zena. I add my name to the legions of far more accomplished dancers, who gratefully feel that Zena saved their dance lives and prolonged their careers. I love Floor-Barre® and I love teaching it to a new generation of professional and pre-professional ballet and modern dancers. Thank you, Zena! Pure magic!
