Claudia Perez Ortiz, Mentor

I studied with Zena Rommett in New York City in the 80’s. Zena’s teaching and her technique changed my life forever. She was so talented and caring like no other dance teacher I ever had. Her knowledge and her singular way of transmitting her passion was remarkable. Always precise and patient. Always encouraging yet meticulous and loving. Her beautiful technique changed my body and mind for the better. I danced like I never did before and to date, I cant start my working day without a daily dose of her highly effective and miraculous work. I will forever be thankful of having been so lucky to have learned so much from one of the best teachers in the dance world! Thank you Zena!
