FORMULAIRE D’INSCRIPTION

To all Dance Teachers, Doctors, Rehabilitation Therapists, Dancers, and Coaches,

We want to inform you of the unique opportunity to share the insights and teaching method of Zena Romett, the creator of the Floor-Barre® technique, known worldwide. The Zena Rommett Foundation offers a training program for teaching this technique every year in Europe, New York, and Mexico.

Zena revolutionized the way of teaching dance with her gentle yet extremely effective and therapeutic method. The technique uses the floor and the reduced effect of gravity to correct and improve body alignment, strengthen joints, and make the best use of muscles and the skeleton.

Thanks to her pioneering commitment to injury prevention and rehabilitation, Zena’s method is recommended by an increasing number of renowned physicians. Long before the terms “mind and body” became common, Zena developed this harmonious technique in which students are carefully guided and focused on their inner sensations, applying each movement correctly. Among the enthusiastic supporters of Floor-Barre®, we can mention Tommy Tune, Patrick Swayze, Judith Jamison, and Philicia Rashad, who declares, “Floor-Barre® is accessible to everyone, without risk.”

One year after your first certification course in teaching, if you find that Floor-Barre® is a valuable technique and you want to continue teaching and using it, the Foundation offers the opportunity to return every year to reflect, refresh, and review your practice with more experienced teachers from around the world.

The registration fee, as indicated on the attached form, decreases gradually each year. We will strive to ensure that in a few years, the most experienced teachers will be paid instead of paying for certification sessions.

The foundation, dedicated to spreading Zena Rommett’s Floor-Barre method, receives inquiries from Floor-Barre® instructors from around the world. We are in the process of recruiting teachers with the goal of improving current classical techniques and body refinement techniques. Certified teachers will have their own page on the Floor-Barre® website with the necessary contact information.
